Pursuing an esports dream doesn't mean abandoning one's studies. Biofrost was admitted to Stanford University, becoming the most highly educated esports player. (Part Two)

Most esports players who retire feel they have few options. The combat experience they've accumulated over years of hard work has very few viable career paths in the real world. Giving up streaming or coaching and starting over is a tough prospect. Having used up their youth, are they really going to set up a stall selling street food? It seems a bit embarrassing. Having tasted high prize money and salaries, they've decided there's no turning back. Advising them to go back to school sounds even more ridiculous. Biofrost completely slapped all the esports players in the face.

Stanford University, not just a prestigious university in name, is one of the world's top universities. Even before graduating, its admission difficulty and academic prestige are well-known. After being away from campus for many years, it was not easy for him to get back into the rhythm of studying. Community college seemed to be the "upper limit." However, he used his indomitable sportsmanship to make a comeback and get into Stanford. His story shocked the entire e-sports circle. The player with the highest academic qualifications is probably only Biofrost. After unlocking this achievement, the title of consecutive champion suddenly becomes inferior and lacks weight.

Esports is not a dead end; you can go further even if you start from scratch.

It's not really the esports community's fault for reacting this way. From the very beginning, choosing to enter this industry seems like a destiny to abandon one's studies. In their early teens, they join youth training camps, practice intensively, break through, and hope to become a top-tier player. They dedicate themselves to esports, without even experiencing basic entertainment, socializing, or high school life. They give their youth to esports, only to be demoted after a single tournament loss. This cruel and ruthless battlefield certainly makes people question whether their initial decision was right or wrong.

Why make esports and academics two opposing paths? Biofrost sacrificed his studies for his career, enjoying the accolades and recognition. Then, seeing his career nearing its end, he returned to his studies, climbing step by step to a top university. What's most admirable about Biofrost isn't his "Stanford" title, but his personal narrative, showcasing various stages of his life. This gave the esports community a much-needed boost, demonstrating that one shouldn't be bound by existing dreams. Life has no fixed path; even if you detour back to where you started, at least you've enjoyed the journey's beauty and fun.

If you are willing to start anew, this time you will have more strength and experience to go further.
