Rodrigo Gomez stated that as long as he remains with Wolves, he will do everything in his power to help the team achieve its goal of returning to the Premier League.

Speaking about next season, Rodrigo Gomez said that if he stays with Wolves and plays in the Championship, he will do everything he can to help the team return to the Premier League. In the final two league matches of the season, manager Rob Edwards began to focus more on future squad arrangements, and Rodrigo Gomez consequently received consecutive starting opportunities, playing in the matches against Fulham and Burnley.

Regarding his future, Rodrigo Gómez admitted that he cannot give a 100% certain answer yet. However, head coach Rob Edwards has expressed his hope that he will stay with the team and be included in next season's plans. Rodrigo Gómez stated that if he remains in Molineux this summer, he will do his best to repay the fans for their support this season with his performances.

Speaking about the final stages of the season, Rodrigo Gómez said, "Being able to start in the last two games is very positive for me. I love the game, every player wants to get playing time, and I feel very comfortable here, starting in two consecutive games and having more playing time."

"The whole season has been tough for both the team and the fans. If we had won today, we would have had a chance to improve our ranking, but in the end, we didn't achieve that and the team finished the season at the bottom of the league. However, what touched me the most was the great support the fans still gave us after the game, and I must thank them."

"No matter what situation the team is in, the fans have always supported us. I hope that next season we can repay them, bring more joy and better performances, and let them enjoy supporting the team even more. What I want to say most is thank you, because even if the results are not ideal, they still accompany us whether it is at home or away."

“I also want to apologize to the fans for the team’s performance this season, and hope that things will improve next season. I have always felt the support and love from the fans, which has touched me deeply. I promise them that if I stay here, I will do my best to help the club return to the Premier League. Wolves is a great club with many excellent people and outstanding fans. This team deserves to be in the Premier League.”

When asked about his future with the team, Rodrigo Gomestan said, "I think I will stay, but to be honest, I can't be 100% sure yet. I've been focused on the season, so I haven't spoken to my agent yet. We'll see how things go. I feel I'll stay, but the world of football is always unpredictable. However, if I stay, I will do my best to help Wolves get back to the Premier League."

“Of course I would like to stay with the team. The Championship and the Premier League are different environments, but the competition is still very fierce. It would be a great thing to be a part of helping the team get promoted. So as long as I am with Wolves, I will do my best to help the team return to the Premier League.”

Speaking about the challenging 2025/26 season, Rodrigo Gómez said: "It's been a challenging season, so now I need to rest, recover, and readjust my mindset, hoping to come back in better shape next season. It's also been a difficult year for me personally because I suffered a serious injury. I was out of action for about two and a half months, and that was a really tough experience."

"Overall, the team's performance this season has been less than ideal, ultimately ending in relegation and finishing at the bottom of the league, which has been difficult for everyone. However, we must learn from this experience and prepare for improvement next season. As I said before, I will do my best to help the team return to the Premier League."
