The NBA officially announced its All-NBA teams for the 2025-2026 season on Sunday. The first team is led by two-time MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Victor Wimbledonama, the unanimous Defensive Player of the Year from the San Antonio Spurs.
Joining them on the All-NBA First Team are Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic, and Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham. Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic received unanimous votes, while Viktor Axelsen missed out by one vote.
Doncic and Cunningham both played 64 games in the regular season, and were granted special exemptions because they did not meet the 65-game requirement.
The second team consisted of Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, and Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard. Durant earned his 12th All-NBA selection and became the first player in history to be named to this team for five different national teams.
The third team consists of five newcomers: Jaylen Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks, Jaylen Duren of the Detroit Pistons, Tyrese Maxey of the Philadelphia 76ers, Chet Holmgren of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets.
With the announcement of the All-Star Team, all the major individual awards for this season have also been determined:
Best Clutch Player: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Most Improved Player: Nicol Alexander-Walker
Best Sixth Man: Keldon Johnson
Coach of the Year: JB Bickerstaff
