To welcome the arrival of the Year of the Snake, DOTA 2 officially launched the "Golden Snake Dance" collection on January 31st local time.
The collection includes nine sets of community-created hero sets, including Snapfire, Medusa, Shadow Shaman, Naga Siren, Earth Spirit, Templar Assassin, and other snake-themed appearances. According to the official statement, players also have the opportunity to unlock the rare Lich Set or the very rare Plague Mage Set.
DOTA 2 officials humorously stated in the announcement: "Any biologist will tell you that snakes are fascinating creatures. They have no skeleton. They have no brain or organs. They only have a tubular muscle that makes up the whole body, a mouth, two eyes and a butt. That's it. An animal should not be able to survive with so few body parts, but snakes have overcome all problems and are alive and well."
"At this point in the blog post, we should admit that we never got a response from biologists when we asked them about these things, so a lot of the details in the above post are guesswork. But honestly, we don't need a snake expert to tell us that snakes look cool. They look cool on armor, weapons, bodies, and even hats. If you already have something cool and you put a bunch of snakes on it, it can actually explode, so be careful."
The "Golden Snake Dance" collection is now online, and players can purchase and experience this new content full of the characteristics of the Year of the Snake in the game. The collection is priced at 17 yuan and is committed to bringing players a strong Spring Festival atmosphere and a unique fashion experience.
