Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola will be leaving at the end of the season..

Bournemouth announced on their official website on Tuesday that head coach Andoni Iraola will be leaving at the end of the season.

According to Bournemouth's official statement, everyone at the club is deeply grateful for Iraola's dedication and hard work over the past three years, where helped the Cherries become a consistently improving Premier League club, and wishes him all the best for the future.

Meanwhile, fitness coach Pablo de la Torre will also follow in Iraola's footsteps and leave at the end of the season.

Furthermore, according to The Athletic's resident renowned English transfer journalist David Ornstein, Bournemouth had tried everything to retain Iraola, even offering to double his wages, but the Spanish head coach was determined to leave.

After leaving Bournemouth, Iraola still plans to stay and manage in the Premier League, but he has not ruled out accepting offers from foreign clubs.

Ornstein also revealed that Iraola had received offers from several Premier League giants in the summer of 2025, but he refused to leave to show his loyalty.

Ornstein categorically denied speculation that Iraola might become Manchester United's next manager.

He clarified that the Red Devils' management still highly values interim manager Michael Carrick's abilities, therefore the possibility of the former Manchester United and England international defensive midfielder being made permanent remains very high.

Following the announcement of his impending departure, Iraola, who was interviewed by the Bournemouth official website again, said: "It has been an honour to manage Bournemouth, and I am proud of what we have accomplished together."

"I thank all the players and staff I have worked with, as well as Bill (Foley - Bournemouth owner), for making my time at Bournemouth so special. As for the fans, I will always be grateful for the tremendous support you have given me and the team."

"I feel it is the right time for me to leave, but I will always cherish the wonderful memories of this club."
