Toulouse announced on their official website on Wednesday that they have extended the contract of its France U19s international defender Seny Koumbassa.
According to Toulouse's official statement, Koumbassa has signed on a new long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.
After completing his contract extension procedures, Koumbassa, who was interviewed by the Toulouse official website again, said: "I am very happy to have extended my contract with the club. I have been playing for this club since I was a child, so this contract means a lot to me. I am incredibly proud to continue this journey after my first professional contract ended. But I know this is just the beginning."
About Seny Koumbassa
Koumbassa, who is only 18 years old, was born on June 20, 2007, in Toulouse, France. He is 1.87 meters tall, plays as a center-back, and holds dual French and Guinean citizenship.
Koumbassa joined Toulouse's youth academy at the age of nine, began playing for their B team in 2024, and completeed his Toulouse first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in a match against Paris Saint-Germain the following August.
Since his debut, Koumbassa has so far made 10 appearances for the Ligue 1 club in all competitions, scoring one goal.
