Merlin Raoul: I rarely see away fans so enthusiastic and passionate; I really enjoy this atmosphere.

Merlin Raoul stated that Everton's impressive away victory against Aston Villa was due to both their meticulous and effective tactical planning and the enthusiastic atmosphere created by the Everton fans who traveled to Villa Park. It's worth noting that Aston Villa had already secured 11 consecutive home wins in the Premier League before this Sunday's match.  

Despite the absence of several first-team players, the team displayed remarkable resilience away from home. Around the 60th minute, Thieno Barry broke the deadlock with a calm and skillful chip shot, giving his team the lead. After securing a 1-0 victory, midfielder Merlin Rohr said, "I'm satisfied with the team's overall performance, especially their all-out effort and strict adherence to the established tactics on both ends of the pitch."  

“I think we were very well prepared for this match. The midfield had to fight for every possession, which was exactly our plan before the match. Our tactics in midfield were very clear. Through one-on-one pressing, and sometimes leaving a player specifically to limit the opponent's center-back, this approach worked very well.”  

In this match, Merlin Roll made his 10th Premier League appearance, his second start, and played the full 90 minutes. He was impressed with the Everton away supporters and detailed how the approximately 3,000 traveling fans helped the team secure three points.
