Roma announced on their official website on Thursday that the club have signed Marseille's France U20s international forward Robinio Vaz.
According to Roma's official statement, Vaz has signed on a long-term four-and-a-half-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030. He will also wear the number 78 jersey.
After completing his transfer procedures, Vaz, who was interviewed by the Serie A giants' official website for the first time, said: "It's an honour to be here, and I want to thank the club. The first thing I did after arriving was to watch the game against Torino. I thought it was a very exciting match, well worth watching."
"I know Roma, I know they have one of the biggest stadiums in Italy, and they've won the Coppa Italia nine times."
"This is a very happy moment. It will help me grow, and I want to prove myself here. Football is both my passion and my job. I've wanted to play football since I was a child; for me, it's more than just a job, I can't find any other words to describe it."
