Liverpool have no intention of loaning Italy international forward Federico Chiesa back to Juventus..

The Athletic's resident renowned English Liverpool team correspondent James Pearce, exclusively reported on Thursday that Liverpool have no intention of loaning Italy international forward Federico Chiesa back to Juventus.

According to Pearce, many online transfer rumours involving Chiesa and Juventus are fabrications by ifamously notorious Italian media outlets seeking clickbaits. Conversely, Liverpool have never planned to part ways with the player this January.

He revealed several reasons why Liverpool have no intention of loaning Chiesa back to the Serie A giants.

Firstly, head coach Arne Slot still has great faith in Chiesa as a super-sub, and there are few key players in the team who, despite limited playing time, never complain. Therefore, Slot considers Chiesa an indispensable part of the team.

Secondly, with Alexander Isak seriously injured and expected to only be able to return at least in March, Liverpool are unwilling to risk losing another forward.

Third, as mentioned above, given the uncertain futures of Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott, the likelihood of Chiesa leaving in any way during this winter transfer window is extremely low unless Liverpool can sign at least one forward to replace them.

Pearce added that Liverpool will only consider letting Chiesa go if all three conditions are met and they receive a substantial offer that satisfies them. This offer must be a permanent transfer, an offer which they can instantly receive money, not a loan, a loan with an option to buy, or a loan with an obilgation to buy.

Previously, Liverpool were widely rumoured to be interested in signing Antoine Semenyo in January, but this plan fell through after the Ghanaian international winger quickly joined Manchester City.

Meanwhile, the Italian tabloid La Gazzetta dello Sport has been fabricating rumours since the beginning of the month which claimed that Juventus wants to welcome Chiesa back to the club on-loan.

One of the most exaggerated claims even went so far as to say that he had personally informed everyone at the I Bianconeri squad of the transfer beforehand, and that he was willing to take a pay cut and do whatever it took to make the transfer happen.
