Stuttgart officially announce the signing of Racing Santander's young Ecuadorian international striker Jeremy Arévalo..


Stuttgart announced on their official website on Tuesday that the club have signed young Ecuadorian international striker Jeremy Arévalo from Racing Santander.


According to Stuttgart's official statement, Arévalo has signed on a long-term five-and-a-half-year deal which runs until the summer of 2031. He will also wear the number 25 jersey.


After completing the transfer procedures, Arévalo, who was interviewed by the Stuttgart official website for the first time, said: "Stuttgart is a big club that has gained international attention in recent years. I am very much looking forward to meeting my new teammates and participating in the first few training sessions. I hope to integrate into the team as soon as possible, continue to improve, and help the team achieve success."


About Jeremy Arévalo


Jeremy Arévalo, who is only still 20 years old, was born on March 19, 2005, in Maliaño, Cantabria, Spain. He is 1.82 meters tall, primarily plays as a center forward, but can also play as an attacking midfielder. He holds dual Spanish and Ecuadorian citizenship. 


Arévalo joined Racing Santander's youth academy at a young age, and in January 2022, at just 16 years old, he had already began playing for their B team.


The following August, Arévalo completed his Racing Santander first-team debut  by coming on Racing Santander as a substitute.


During his two-and-a-half-year spell with Racing Santander, Arévalo made 40 appearances for the Spanish Segunda División club in all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 2 assists.
