dev1ce joins 100 Thieves, officially launching a new CS2 team.

Renowned esports club 100 Thieves has officially announced the signing of legendary sniper dev1ce to its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team.

With the addition of this former Astralis core member, the final piece of 100 Thieves' new CS2 roster has been completed, marking the organization's official return to the CS2 esports scene after a five-year hiatus.

The team's formation was swift and ambitious. The official announcements included three promising young talents from the Tier 2 league: Ag1l, sirah, and poiii. Following this, dev1ce's addition injected top-tier experience and firepower into this young team.

Notably, this team has reunited two legendary figures: star in-game captain rain will serve as captain, while veteran captain gla1ve has transitioned into head coaching for the first time. This also marks the second time dev1ce and gla1ve have teamed up since mid-2023.

As a newly formed team, 100 Thieves will start from scratch in the Valve Regional Rank (VRS). To climb the ranks quickly, the club has hired former recognized "ranking expert" messioso as the CS2 operations manager.

100 Thieves aims to accumulate points through smaller tournaments in the shortest possible time in order to qualify for a Tier 1 tournament later this year.
