Fiorentina announced on its official website on Tuesday that the club has signed former Arsenal Spain international center back Pablo Marí from Monza.
According to Fiorentina's official statement, Marí has signed on a short-term two-and-a-half-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend for a further year. At the same time, he will also wear the No. 18 jersey.
In addition, according to the news brought by Sky Sports' renowned Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, I Viola paid Monza a total of €1 million to sign Marí.

About Pablo Marí
Marí, 31 years old, was born on August 31, 1993 in Almussafes, Spain. He is 1.93 meters tall and plays as a center back.
Marí, who joined the Mallorca youth academy at a young age, started playing for the Mallorca reserve team at the age of 17, and officially completed his first-team debut in December 2011.
From 2013 to 2016, Marí played for Gimnàstic Tarragona, and won the Segunda División B promotion play-offs once with the club.
In August 2016, Marí moved to Manchester City, but was loaned-out for many years.
