Enzo Maresca: I think the gap between home and away is not that big

Only two teams have a better away record than Chelsea in the Premier League this season, and Enzo Maresca had been predicting a good away form for his side ahead of the game against Manchester City.  

Chelsea have won six of their 11 away games, drawn three and lost two. Chelsea's 21 points are more than the 19 they have collected at home, and Enzo Maresca explains why this is a good reflection of the team's stability and maturity.  

Enzo Maresca said: "Maybe this shows our balance. Everyone is talking about how we can get more points away from home. However, I think the difference between home and away is not big. This shows that the team has maintained a balance at home and away, and we don't care about home or away."  

"Hopefully we can get more points at home in the future, that's our goal. In conclusion, it's a good thing because it shows the balance of the team at the moment."  

In recent weeks, Enzo Maresca has spoken about his team's gains from the ups and downs of the Premier League. The victory at the Etihad Stadium was a boost to the team, but Enzo Maresca did not put extra energy on this game.  

Enzo Maresca said: "If you look at the top six, we beat Bournemouth away and drew at home. In addition, we beat Newcastle United at home, but still had to play there. We drew with Arsenal and lost to Liverpool and Manchester City. It's a question of balance."  
 
"We will definitely win games against big teams, but I don't think a win means we are ready to win the title. We will definitely try to win against Manchester City."
