PARIVISION officially benched In-Game Leader of its Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team Qikert..

Russian e-sports club PARIVISION announced on Wednesday through its official X (Twitter) account that it had benched the In-Game Leader of its Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team Qikert.

According to PARIVISION's official statement, they thanked Qikert for having been with the team through many ups and downs over the past year and a half, and wished him the best in the future.

With Qikert's departure, many people expected that AWP-er Jame would most likely take over as the new In-Game Leader.

It is worth mentioning that this is the second time PARIVISION has made roster changes in the past two months. In May, they also benched rifler TRAVIS after signing rookie xiELO.

About Qikert

Qikert, 26, was born in Kazakhstan on January 1, 1999. He has been a professional Counter Strike 2 (CS2) e-sports player since 2015, mainly playing as a AWP-er and also capable of playing as a In-Game Leader.

Qikert played for AVANGAR, virtus.pro (VP), Outsiders, as well as Into The Breach (ITB) on-loan in his early years. He won the DreamHack Rio Major, Flashpoint Season 2, Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Rio Major, etc.

In January 2024, Qikert joined PARIVISION.

At first, the team was eliminated early in the LAN tournaments and qualifiers for most of the year. Even after Jerry was removed and alpha was brought in, PARIVISION's performances did not improve. Their only bright spot was advancing to the Perfect World Shanghai Major European RMR, but eventually ranked last in the event and was eliminated.

In January this year, PARIVISION brought in Jame and benched ArtFr0st, allowing the former to reunite and to work together with Qikert again.

However, although this change once injected vitality into PARIVISION and helped it win the CCT Season 2 European Series 16, theit ranking dropped due to the roster changes. The team had to work hard to earn VRS points and only participated in one offline tournament in the entire spring season.
