Jarrod Bowen is working his way back to fitness after fracturing his foot against Liverpool on December 29. West Ham United are set to face Crystal Palace next week and Jarrod Bowen says he will be cheering on his players.
It is reported that Jarrod Bowen's recovery is progressing very smoothly, but he is not ready to return to the court. Although he has not yet been able to play for the team, he will cheer for the team in the locker room and on the bench.
Jarrod Bowen said: "I feel good at the moment. My road to recovery is still long, but I am doing my best to get back on the field. I think everyone knows me. I don't hate playing football. This is my mentality. I hate not being involved in winning games."
"I want to be working with the manager, Graham Potter, and be out there on the pitch with the guys. But I think my role now is to be with the lads and keep the spirits high. "Ultimately the lads win games by performing well and it's great to see them do that."
“If we keep winning, then the question is whether I can get back in the team. I want to be back very badly, I hate being injured, so I always try to recover before the doctors tell me to and get back on the pitch as soon as possible. That’s the challenge I set for myself, so if I can get back a few weeks earlier, I’ll be happy. However, in the next few weeks I’ll try to train hard and support my teammates as a fan for the time being.”
Jarrod Bowen also said: "If the players can show the same desire and effort as in the last game against Crystal Palace, I think the team has a good chance of winning. All we can do is win the game. This is the players' focus and mentality, and it is what everyone wants to see."
"We know Crystal Palace very well, they are a very good team and have achieved good results. We know their system very well and we also know how they play under the leadership of the coach. I believe my teammates will play to their strengths with excellent performances and they will face this game with confidence."
