Gpk returns to BetBoom as mid laner

Russian e-sports club BetBoom announced that gpk, who had taken a temporary break last September, will return to the team and serve as the mid laner again.

BetBoom released a message on social media, writing: "Gpk becomes the new mid laner of BetBoom! We are very happy that gpk has returned to the main lineup and look forward to writing a new chapter with him. May this year be full of glory! Welcome home!"

In the 2024 Dota 2 National Day Invitational, BetBoom team won the 7th-8th place and made major adjustments to the lineup in September of the same year. BetBoom team introduced kiyotaka, Pure and Kataomi, while gpk and TORONTOKYO temporarily withdrew from the professional arena.

After the adjustment, BetBoom quickly rose to become one of the strongest teams in the arena. BetBoom ended 2024 with outstanding performance. The team squeezed into the top three in BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and ESL One Bangkok 2024, won the runner-up in Dream League Season 24, and won the first "Dota 2" championship in the team's history at Blast Salam I.

To welcome the new year, BetBoom has brought back gpk, whose arrival will help the team become a strong contender for the Dota 2 International Invitational in 2025. However, gpk's arrival also means that kiyotaka will be temporarily replaced.

I hope gpk can make good use of his advantages. He not only has top strength, but also rich experience. After all, he has been playing for BetBoom since December 2022. After Gpk returns, he will represent BetBoom in the first event of 2025-Dream League Season 25.
