Sheep Esports reported on Tuesday, citing local police sources, that Brazilian police have officially launched an investigation into paiN (PNG) ADC player TitaN's alleged sexual assault of multiple underage girls.

According to the report, since the incident was initially revealed online, São Paulo Civil Police have received three separate reports from women alleging sexual harassment or assault by TitaN.

Given the seriousness of the situation, the Brazilian police's Public Security and Order Investigation Department has decided to intervene and has launched an investigation against TitaN on charges of "illegally distributing pornography, rape of a vulnerable person, and sexual harassment."

Police also confirmed that due to TitaN's significant influence in the Brazilian and global League of Legends professional esports scene, the number of victims may exceed the three who have filed reports.

Based on the reports currently available, many female victims have stated that some are refusing to provide truthful accounts of the incidents to police due to privacy concerns, fear of identity exposure, and fear of online harassment.

Regardless, police have extracted photos, videos, and audio recordings related to the case from the three victims, which could be used as substantial and crucial supporting evidence.

What Happened

TitaN was accused by Gabriela Zambrozuski, a famous Brazilian Twitch streamer and influencer with nearly a million followers, of sexually harassing a minor girl in private chats in January.

According to Gabriela's accusation, TitaN used an AI image generator to create multiple deepfake underwear photos during private chats with a minor girl and sent them to her via private message.

Later, she received similar allegations from four other underage girls who also claimed to have received similar private messages from TitaN. She decided to publicly release screenshots as evidence of his sexual harassment of underage girls and has helped these five victims report the incidents to the police.

This incident instantly sparked heated discussions not only throughout Brazil but also within the global League of Legends esports community. It finally forced PNG, which had been silent for several days, to respond and take action.

On January 16, paiN (PNG) issued an official statement saying that due to the extremely serious allegations against TitaN, which severely violated the club's and society's values of gender equality, the club had no choice but to immediately impose an indefinite suspension on the player.

PNG also took this opportunity to apologize to women worldwide and pledged to strengthen gender equality and respect for women's rights education among all team members, fostering a positive and ethical environment within the esports community.

The club will fully cooperate with the police and law enforcement investigations and will commission an independent internal investigation into TitaN to ensure a fair and impartial hearing for both the player and the victim.

During TitaN's suspension, Marvin, a player who came through their academy team, will replace him as the team's starting bot laner.
