GG Official: Argentine sniper Luken has officially joined the team and will replace bsd as the sniper.

Gaimin Gladiators' CS2 team confirmed on Wednesday that 28-year-old Argentine sniper Luca Nadotti (ID: Luken) will replace Lucas Luan (ID: bsd) in the starting lineup, effective immediately. bsd has been relegated to the bench by GG, and his future destination is yet to be determined.

Luken also made his debut for GG in the first season of the BetBoom RUSH B Summit on January 14th. In this match against the South American powerhouse MIBR, he ultimately recorded an average personal rating of 1.18.

After the match, Luken told Dust2.com.br, "We are a new team, and it takes time to gel. At this stage, we can only train hard. For me, it's a bit more difficult. I've been communicating in Spanish for the past year, but now I have to switch to Portuguese and understand my teammates' game strategies. This match was more about getting to know each other, and we can only leave the rest to time. I only arrived at the team at 10 a.m. this morning and didn't even know my teammates. We hadn't trained at all before, and we need to adapt to everything gradually."

Before joining GG, Luken had played for 9z for a year. According to HLTV, during his third stint with 9z, he played on 204 maps and participated in 4294 rounds, with an average rating of 1.24.

When asked about his reasons for leaving 9z, Luken explained to Dust2.com.br: "I spent a lot of time negotiating contract issues with the team members. I originally hoped to participate in a long-term project, but only if the salary satisfied me. I'm 28 years old this year, not young anymore, and I want to reduce some streaming and enjoy life. Accepting the conditions offered by 9z would mean that I would have to take on a lot of work outside of competitions, and I don't want that."

“Gaimin Gladiators later offered a slightly better deal than 9z, and I tried to use that to get a better deal with 9z, but I was unsuccessful. Leaving 9z, leaving my comfort zone, leaving my home country was definitely an adventure for me. The outcome may be good or bad, but it's all the same to me. I will strive to become the top wrestler I aspire to be and achieve our goals.”
