New signing Semenio scores again, admitting he enjoys every moment.

Manchester City defeated Newcastle United 2-0 away in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.

New winger Antoine Semenyo, who just joined Manchester City last week, has impressed, scoring a crucial goal to help his team take control of the two-legged series.

Following his FA Cup debut, Semenho proved his worth once again at St. James' Park. In the 53rd minute, he astutely seized an opportunity in front of goal and slotted home his first away goal since joining the club.

Although Semenio's brilliant chip shot was later disallowed by VAR due to Haaland being offside, the former Bournemouth striker's impactful performance had already won over the away fans.

After the match, Semenho couldn't hide his excitement in an interview. He said, "The environment here is perfect, and everyone is full of fighting spirit. Although I've only been here a short time, I'm learning quickly, and everyone makes me feel right at home. I'm playing with a smile and enjoying every second at Manchester City."

Despite leading 2-0, Newcastle had their chances. Bruno Guimarães' shot hitting the post and Ionne Wissa's dangerous header both tested Manchester City's defense. Goalkeeper James Trafford's excellent performance ensured a clean sheet for his team.

Next month, the two sides will move to the Etihad Stadium for the crucial second leg. Semenio firmly stated, "As long as we persevere, we know we will get our chance."
