Trailing in the first half, Morgan Gibbs-White completed a hat-trick within 15 minutes of the second half, helping Nottingham Forest secure three crucial points against Burnley. In stoppage time, Igor Jesus added another goal, ultimately sealing the victory for his team on the banks of the Trent River.

This victory puts Nottingham Forest five points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and four points ahead of West Ham United in the Premier League standings. Just three days after defeating Burnley, Nottingham Forest had advanced to the UEFA Europa League semi-finals, and Vitor Pereira was satisfied with the team's overall performance.
