Wenbanyama suffered a severe fall and concussion, forcing him to withdraw from the fight. His return date is yet to be determined.

April 22 - Victor Wenbanyama, the team's star player, fell heavily to the ground during a drive in the second quarter and was subsequently diagnosed with a concussion and left the game early.

 

With 8 minutes and 57 seconds remaining in the second quarter , Wimbledonyama lost his balance after being defended by Jrue Holiday on offense, fell face-first to the ground, and briefly lost consciousness.

After the game, head coach Mitch Johnson stated that Wernbanyama has been confirmed to be in concussion protocol and currently has no other injuries. According to league rules, players must rest for at least 48 hours and pass multiple assessments without any symptoms before being cleared to play.
