March 6th - The Jazz defeated the Wizards 122-112. Bailey scored a game-high 32 points, while Collier contributed 27 points, 3 rebounds, and 11 assists. For the Wizards, Trae Young made his debut for the team, scoring 12 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and dishing out 6 assists.

At the start of the game, Trae Young and Black scored consecutively to give the Wizards the lead. The Jazz then responded with a run of offense led by Flipovsky's scoring inside. At the end of the first quarter, the Jazz led 37-23 . In the second quarter, Collier and Williams continued to attack the basket, extending the Jazz's lead to over 20 points. At halftime, the Jazz led the Wizards 67-49 .

After switching sides, the Wizards narrowed the gap to single digits with consecutive three-pointers from Trae Young and Johnson.
