Jean-Claire Todibo stated that the team wanted to win the game and keep a clean sheet, so this result was ideal for them.

Jean-Claire Todibo returned to the Premier League after a break of more than a month, helping West Ham United secure a 1-0 away victory against Fulham in his debut. After the match, he stated that the team would continue to give their all and deliver exciting performances for the fans.  

Before heading to Craven Cottage, the French international had missed five consecutive matches. He was suspended for three games after receiving a red card against Chelsea at the end of January, and subsequently failed to start in West Ham's next two matches, appearing only as a substitute.  

In the West Ham match against Fulham, Nuno Espirito Santo reinstated Jean-Clair Todibo to the starting lineup. Todibo lived up to the manager's trust, combining well with his defensive partner Axel Disasi to contribute significantly to West Ham's fourth clean sheet of the season.  

Cristiano Somerville's second-half goal sealed the victory in this brightly lit match. The number 25 player dedicated this hard-won win to the 2,700 fans who had traveled from afar, as well as to the other supporters at home.  

Jean-Claire Todibo said: "This is a very desirable result. We wanted to win and keep a clean sheet, which is exactly what we wanted. The first half was a bit tough, but the game went up and down normally. We got through the low points well, Mas Hermansen made a few great saves, and our finishing was very efficient."  

“Right now, we just want to continue working hard for the fans and everyone at the club. I think they deserve good results, and the team deserves good results because everyone puts in a lot of effort. We want to keep winning and give back to the fans. The fans are fantastic, both at home and away. I personally watched the Manchester United vs. Bournemouth game, and the atmosphere was incredibly exciting and thrilling. I hope that atmosphere continues.”  

Jean-Claire Todibo believes West Ham United are capable of securing a Premier League spot. He is also determined to solidify his place in the starting lineup, having made 21 appearances in all competitions this season with commendable performances.  

Despite their victory over Fulham helping West Ham United close the gap on 17th-placed Nottingham Forest, the team and fans' attention is now focused on their upcoming FA Cup fifth-round match against Brentford. West Ham will be looking to continue their good form and secure a place in the quarterfinals.  

Jean-Claire Todibo continued: "The team's goal and direction is to avoid relegation, and I think we have shown great energy and determination. The squad is very complete, and I believe we are capable of defeating any opponent in the league."  

“That red card did bring me to a standstill for a moment, but my teammates played exceptionally well. I’m happy to be back on the field and to deliver such a performance. I’ve been in good form since the coach took over, and I’m working hard to improve every week. I hope to maintain this momentum.”  

Finally, Jean-Claire Todibo specifically mentioned Criscencio Somerville, the hero of the victory. His goal was his seventh in all competitions this season, and all of them have come in his last ten matches. Todibo added, "He was outstanding! It's a pity injuries affected his speed; he wasn't as noticeable last year, but I think he has shown his ability."  

“His performance right now is impressive. When he has the ball, he puts pressure on almost every opponent in the league. This is exactly the type of player he wants to be, and he is fully capable of doing so, so I am happy for him.”
