Trevor Chalobah stated that the team should turn the defeat into motivation and approach the game with a more determined mindset.

Trevor Chalobah said Chelsea should take responsibility for their disappointing 0-3 defeat to Brighton at the American Express Stadium.  

It was a disappointing night for fans who traveled to the south coast to watch the game. Brighton's victory put them three points ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League standings, a result that Trevor Chalobah found incredibly frustrating and an unacceptable experience.  

The player admitted that the team's performance had fallen short of expectations and believed that the entire team must take responsibility for the loss. After the match, Trevor Chalobah stated, "We are currently in a difficult situation, but that cannot be an excuse. We play for one of the greatest clubs in the world, therefore we must reflect on our actions."  

"You can analyze it from a tactical perspective, and there are all sorts of different interpretations, but ultimately we must take responsibility. As players, we need to be accountable for our performance. We know the fans have always supported us, and we understand their disappointment with the result."  

This weekend, Chelsea will face Leeds United at Wembley Stadium in a crucial match for a place in the FA Cup semi-finals. Trevor Chalobah stated that the team must unite and regroup in the coming days.  

Trevor Chalobah added: "We need to come together and not dwell on the past, as that won't bring any change. We need to maintain a positive attitude, adjust our form as quickly as possible, and prepare for the crucial semi-final at Wembley. We should use this as motivation to approach the game with a more determined mindset and try to recover from the defeat."
