◤Coppa Italia◢ Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored twice as Inter Milan come from behind to defeat Como and reach the final with a late 3-2 win..

Inter Milan rallied from behind to defeat Como with a late 3-2 win in the 2025/26 Coppa Italia semi-final at the San Siro on Tuesday, keeping their hopes of a double alive.

In the first half, Kempf's header hit the crossbar, and Baturina's shot struck the post before bouncing into the net. In the second half, Da Cunha scored from a difficult angle, and Çalhanoğlu's long shot deflected into the net. Çalhanoğlu then scored again with a header. In the crucial moments, Sučić scored with a powerful shot. Ultimately, Inter Milan secured a late 3-2 victory over Como.

First Half

In the 8th minute, Álex Valle passes horizontally from the center of the box. Martin Baturina quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed with his right foot from the left side of the box, but his shot was saved by Josep Martínez.

Shortly after, Baturina crossed into the box from the left wing, where Marc-Oliver Kempf headed the ball towards goal, however his effort unfortunately struck the crossbar and bounced off! Como missed a golden opportunity to take the lead!

In the 32nd minute, Ignace van der Brempt passes horizontally from the right side of the box. Upon receiving the pass, Baturina volleyed the ball with his right foot from the center of the box with his right foot. His shot hit the bottom left corner of the post and deflected into the bottom right corner of the net, giving Como an early 1-0 lead!

5 minutes later, Inter Milan earned a corner opportunity. Federico Dimarco took the corner by crossing it into the box. Marcus Thuram rose high and headed the ball towards goal, however his effort was blocked off the goal line by Maximo Perrone's header. I Nerazzurri missed a golden opportunity to quickly equalize against Como!

At halftime, Inter Milan temporarily trailed Como by 1-0. 

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the matched continued.. In the 48th minute, Como launched a deadly quick counter-attack. Nico Paz intercepted the ball and made a through ball from near the midfield center circle. After beating the offside trap, Lucas da Cunha quickly followed up, got the ball, cuts inside, and took a few steps before volleying the ball into the bottom left corner of the net from a difficult angle at the right side of the box with his left foot, extending Como's lead to 0-2!

In the 69th minute, Petar Sučić passes horizontally rom the center of the box. Hakan Çalhanoğlu quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, took a right-footed long shot from just outside of the penalty area. His shot was deflected off Jacobo Ramón and bounced into the bottom left corner of the net, Inter Milan pulled a goal at 1-2!

Shortly after, Ramón made a long pass from his own back half. After beating the offside trap, Assane Diao quickly followed up, got the ball and dribbled into the center of the box before striking the ball with a right-footed shot against the outrushing Martínez, but his shot was saved by the latter.

In the 86th minute, Sučić crossed into the box from the left wing, where Çalhanoğlu rose high to head the ball into the net, scoring his second goal and leveling the score at 2-2 for Inter Milan against Como! This was the Turkish international's 50th goal for Inter Milan in all competitions!

Three minutes later, Çalhanoğlu passes horizontally from the left side of the box. Upon receiving the pass, Petar Sučić volleyed the ball into the top right corner of the net with his right-foot from the center of the box, sealing a 3-2 victory for Inter Milan!

When the final whistle is blown, Inter Milan secured a late 3-2 comeback win against Como.
