The 34th round of the 2025/26 La Liga season will feature a key match, with Barcelona traveling to face Osasuna. At a press conference, Flick stated that while his team is on track to win the title, they still need to perform at their best.
With goals from Fermín and Rashford, Barcelona defeated Getafe 2-0 in the last round of La Liga's key match. After achieving a nine-game winning streak, Barcelona currently sits atop the standings with 85 points, 11 points ahead of second-placed rivals Real Madrid.
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said, "We will be playing against a very experienced team, and the atmosphere there will be great. We must produce the same performance as we did against Getafe. We defended very well in that game and made good use of the space they gave us. However, I don't want to talk about the games we'll be playing later."
“I’m not entirely sure about Andreas Christensen’s condition yet; he needs to recover step by step. Marc Bernal will travel with the team and may get some playing time.”
Flick continued, "Injuries are inevitable. Rafinha always gives 100%, that's his mentality and attitude. He's been a great help to us, but he has indeed had some difficulties this season. His return is very important, he will travel with the team, and we'll have to see how things go. He's the team captain, and we might need him."
Regarding Barcelona's chance to break their winning streak, Flick said, "We will only focus on the next game. We want to win every game, but there are still strong opponents ahead. We must play at our best, that's our philosophy and mentality. I'm satisfied with the performance in training; the team's focus was 100%."
“I feel everyone’s love and support every day, and I cherish it very much. It’s an honor, and when you’re coaching a club like Barcelona, the goal is to win championships. The atmosphere in the club and the dressing room is fantastic, everyone is giving 100%, and so are the fans. I’m very proud.”
Flick also emphasized, "I am very proud, but it's not over yet. We are on the right track to winning the La Liga title, but we can't say that we have achieved our goal yet."
