Sky Sports' resident renowned Italian transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, exclusively report that Fiorentina's Czech international midfielder Antonín Barák is highly likely to leave the club after the end of the season when his contract expires.

Schira reports that Barák has grown tired of being constantly loaned-out, and Fiorentina's technical staff no longer sees a continued partnership as worthwhile. Therefore, parting ways is likely the better option for both sides.

Schira adds that it is currently impossible to predict Barák's future destination. Cagliari considered signing the player several years ago, but there are no indications that Gli Isolani intend to revive that plan.

The 31-year-old Antonín Barák was born on December 13, 1994, in Příbrám, Czech Republic. He is 1.90 meters tall and primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also play as a defensive midfielder.

Barák joined the youth academy of his hometown club, Příbrám, at a young age and completed his Příbrám first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in June 2013.

In January 2016, Barák moved to Slavia Prague for €25,000.
