Is the support's ability to counter is really that strong? It's inevitable that a large number of people will switch to roaming, and compared to the core damage dealer, it saves a lot of effort. Especially after reading the data from the King of Glory Camp, the strongest marksman in the current version, the biggest enemy is not the nuke mage, but the jungler with flexible movement, the warrior with tankiness and the ability to stand and fight, or even the marksman of the same class with different power spikes. It is the support who is often looked down upon.

Ming Shi Yin's counter index reaches 3.47, enough to make one question reality. It's completely unimaginable how to beat this powerful hero. The next better option is the sluggish Yuan Liu support, with a counter index of 3.2. The data is low, but at least the mechanism is logical. The reason is that the second skill's casting platform can increase the range of teammates. In other words, with a Sunbow by your side, you can maintain a safe distance to output damage without being hit by sword energy, and try to kite and dodge the Dragon Soul damage.

Son of Yuanliu

Another reason is related to Ao Yin's attack mechanism. He's a single-target burst attacker with top-tier one-shot damage. Generally, marksmen don't buy defensive items unless it's a spellcaster build or a losing game with a high magic power composition. In such cases, they might reluctantly buy a Magic Resistance Cloak, leaving no slot for defensive items. The shield from the casting table can absorb a certain amount of attack damage, increasing survivability. Furthermore, the Yuanliu support provides built-in healing and poke damage; his presence at least temporarily renders Ao Yin ineffective, preventing him from being too conspicuous.

The restraint index has this number, which inevitably brings to mind the flash of Yuanliu's son, who can instantly leave the field, causing Dragon Soul to miss and inadvertently transfer damage to other targets. To put it simply, Ming Shi Yin is all about early-game aggressiveness, while Yuanliu's support is about kiting.

Arthur

The third is Arthur. He's not exactly a support, but his counter-pick index is 2.94. He's a mobile tank with a lock-on dash attack. If you silence Ao Yin, preventing him from using his ultimate, then finish him off immediately after weakening him. The counter is simple: target his ultimate. Without his dragon form to escape, he's doomed. Entering first is the most disadvantageous move; he's usually ambushed from behind or in bushes.
