Vitor Pereira revealed the latest situation of the players ahead of the match against Aston Villa.

Vitor Pereira has confirmed that Murillo will miss the first leg of Nottingham Forest's Europa League semi-final against Aston Villa. The Brazilian defender was injured in the first half of the City Stadium's 4-1 Premier League win over Burnley and will miss Saturday's 5-0 away victory against Sunderland.  

However, Jair Cunha was photographed participating in first-team training after being substituted in the first half of the Northeast FC match. Vitor Pereira stated that the medical team is continuing assessments and rehabilitation efforts, striving to get as many players as possible fit for the first leg.  

Vitor Pereira stated, "We have indeed encountered some problems, which almost every team faces at the end of the season. The schedule is very congested, but we still need to observe the situation tomorrow. The medical team is doing everything they can to help the players recover, but the specifics will depend on how things develop on match day. In any case, we will definitely start with 11 players."  

“He is doing his best to return as soon as possible, but it is certain that he will not be able to play tomorrow. I don’t think Murillo’s injury will last too long, and he may be able to return in a few days. Of course, I don’t have a crystal ball to predict everything, but he is currently recovering and we need to continue to observe him. The medical team is also doing its best to help all the players get back to the right condition so that they can help with tomorrow’s game. But to be honest, I don’t think everyone will be able to make it back in time for the game.”
