Romeo Lavia believes that as long as the team stays united, its overall level will continue to improve.

Romeo Lavia believes Chelsea's cohesion was key to their victory over Leeds United at Wembley. Continuing the intense style of previous encounters between the two teams, the match at the Arches was a hard-fought contest, with Enzo Fernandes' header securing the win for Chelsea and advancing them to the FA Cup final. The team will face Manchester City for the title in May.

Midfielder Romeo Lavia believes Chelsea deserved their victory on Sunday afternoon. He also stated that he never felt the team's morale waver after a difficult few weeks. Lavia said: "Sometimes, when results aren't what you want, it feels like everything is against you. But actually, as long as we stay united, things will eventually improve, especially considering our overall strength."

“This is positive for the team, and you can see how we worked to adjust after Wednesday’s game. The whole team felt that performance was unacceptable, so winning at Wembley was especially important. We turned that disappointment into motivation and tried to do better in the next game, which we ultimately achieved against Leeds United.”

With his former club Manchester City now the final obstacle on their path to the trophy, Romeo Lavia stated that the team will go all out and think about how to make things difficult for their opponents. He also believes that key players like Enzo Fernandez are crucial in unlocking the team's potential.

Romeo Lavia continued, "I think the key to every match is ourselves, not who our opponent is. As long as we play with the right mindset like we did today, anything is possible."

“Enzo Fernandez is very important to us, and I personally enjoy playing with him. The whole team appreciates everything he does, and we are happy to have him. He played a key role in the semi-final.”

Romeo Lavia also quickly praised interim manager Callum McFarlane, believing he played a crucial role in helping Chelsea adjust their form and respond positively at Wembley. He stated, "We know Callum McFarlane very well. The most important thing now is to adapt to the changes that have occurred, try not to dwell on the past, but look forward as quickly as possible, especially in this title-winning competition. We know it's possible, and we've done everything we can to prepare for the game."
