Counter Strike 2: Wildcard officially announced the signing of former Masborne In-Game Leader Cxzi..

American Counter Strike 2 esports club Wildcard announced on Sunday via their official X (Twitter) account that they have signed former Masborne In-Game Leader Cxzi.

According to Wildcard's official statement, Cxzi will replace rifler Peeping, who was recently benched.

It's worth mentioning that Cxzi is not expected to become Wildcard's new in-game leader; that position will most likely remain with nEMANHA.

Peeping joined Wildcard in July 2025, but his inconsistent performances led to his benching a week ago.

Masborne recently suddenly announced the disbandment of their entire roster with only rifler Grizz, retained for major adjustments.

In fact, Cxzi himself only recently transitioned to the In-Game Leader role in the latter half of 2025.

The Polish-American player was previously a rifler at Complexity, whose roster was disbanded in August 2025.

At the time, Cxzi revealed in an interview that he only learned afterward that his former teammates had collectively transferred to Ukrainian powerhouse Passion UA, while he had been kept in the dark the whole time.

After joining Masborne, Cxzi took on the role of In-Game Leader, marking his first time in this role.

Despite his lack of experience as a In-Game Leader, Cxzi's individual performances, especially in several Counter Strike 2 offline tournaments, were quite impressive.

During his time with Masborne, his rating was 1.10, averaging 83 points per round, making him the second-highest rated player on the team, second only to Grizz.

While Masborne ultimately failed to qualify for the Major, Cxzi helped the team achieve victories including a final appearance at the 2026 Circuit X Pantanal Cuiabá and two CCT North America championships.

Wildcard will begin competing for honours at the Frag Vegas on April 24th. They will face formidable opponents such as M80, NRG, Passion UA, and Voca.

Wildcard's current roster is:

In-Game Leader: nEMANHA

AWP-er: mhL

Rifler: reck

Entry Fragger: HexT

Rifler / In-Game Leader: Cxzi

Head Coach: splawik (interim)
