Palmer: I have no intention of leaving Chelsea at the moment and do not miss Manchester.

Cole Palmer has made it clear that rumors about him potentially leaving the team this summer are untrue.

The 23-year-old Palmer came through Manchester City's youth academy and transferred to Chelsea in September 2023 for £42.5 million. He primarily plays as an attacking midfielder or right winger for Chelsea, and has made 125 appearances to date, scoring 53 goals and providing 32 assists, winning both the European Championship and the Club World Cup with the team.

Palmer's current contract with Chelsea expires in 2033, but rumors of his move to Manchester United have been circulating recently. In an interview with The Guardian, Palmer firmly denied these rumors: "There's a lot of talk about it, and I just laugh it off. Manchester is undoubtedly my home. My family is there, but I don't miss it. If I don't go back for about three months, I might feel a little homesick. But when I do go home, I don't find it very appealing."

Palmer further stated: "I have no plans to leave Chelsea. We still have many goals to achieve. We will face Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-final. Securing a Champions League spot would make it easier for us to sign players we desperately need. We spoke with the owners this summer, and they have great confidence in the players who can help the team achieve its goals. Reece (James) would never have signed a six-year contract extension if he hadn't spoken with the owners and board."
