Popular Chinese-American League of Legends streamer Sykkuno, has recently been publicly accused by several prominent female influencers in his community of controversially "cheating mutiple women" simultaneously.
The controversy surrounding Sykkuno was exposed on April 10th by Mujin, a YouTuber known for exposing controversies and scandals involving influencers.
Mujin said that he was commissioned by popular American-Filipino-German female influencer Valkyrae, to expose Sykkuno's inappropriate behaviour.
According to Valkyrae's accusations, Sykkuno already had a girlfriend outside the entertainment industry with whom he had been in a relationship for many years, yet he concealed this fact from several female influencers. He allegedly used the guise of "collaboration" and "promoting others to help them gain popularity and traffic" to specifically target previously unknown Asian female influencers for private chats, thus controversially "cheating multiple women" simultaneously.
She said that Sykkuno's controversial behaviour followed a fixed pattern: he would deliberately contact multiple female influencers, then simultaneously travel to the same events or destinations, secretly engaging in multiple relationships while concealing his intentions. When he grew tired of a particular "girlfriend," he would intentionally distance himself, then apologize and beg for forgiveness. Even worse, Sykkuno would feign poverty to trick these influencers into paying for his travel expenses.
When Valkyrae discovered Sykkuno's multiple infidelities, she was informed that two other Asian-American female influencers, namely Elfilea and Hemomal, were also victims.
Hemomal even uploaded a 32-page text message to Google Drive detailing how she and Elfilea were lured by Sykkuno.
She accused Sykkuno of initially inviting her to Paris under the pretense of "attending a large cosplay event." He told Elfilea that LilyPichu, the popular Korean-American female influencer who inspired him to become a livestreamer, would also be attending as a judge.
Elfilea, assuming it was normal for influencers to interact, accepted Sykkuno's invitation, unaware that he had already used the same story to deceive Hemomal and LilyPichu.
In Paris, the deceived Elfilea even had sex with Sykkuno, but he later became increasingly distant due to strings of his strange behaviour.
Later, Elfilea was contacted privately by Hemomal and LilyPichu and discovered they were all victims of Sykkuno's multiple infidelities controversy. It was then that the three of them discovered Valkyrae had become Sykkuno's latest victim.
Realizing the severity of the situation, Elfilea privately contacted Valkyrae and told her about Sykkuno's alleged controversial behaviour of "cheating mutiple women" simultaneously.
Later, after a post on the popular forum Reddit implied that Sykkuno had also used similar "pickup artist" tactics to try and seduce his girlfriend, Valkyrae decided to confront Sykkuno by phone.
Unexpectedly, during the 17-minute call, Sykkuno indirectly admitted to his controversial behaviour, but only apologized for each of the accusations made on the phone, refusing to admit wrongdoing for anything else.
Valkyrae also discovered that Sykkuno deliberately lowered his voice and spoke unclearly during the call to avoid his long-term girlfriend finding out about his multiple infidelities, which completely enraged Valkyrae.
Finally, to prevent further victimization of women, Valkyrae, Hemomal, and LilyPichu, after several discussions, agreed to commission Mujin to expose Sykkuno's disgusting and controversial behaviour.
Since Mujin's revelation, Sykkuno's cheating controversy has drawn overwhelming criticism from netizens and the influencer community, but his die-hard fans still blindly defend him, sparking large-scale online debate.
Currently, Sykkuno's controversial incident has begun to be reported by numerous entertainment news media outlets worldwide, and he is considered by many to be a "disgrace" of the League of Legends esports streaming community.
Sykkuno began streaming and commentating on League of Legends esports events through his YouTube channel in 2011, but only achieved widespread popularity in 2019.
During this time, he collaborated with several influencers and publicly stated that LilyPichu was the influencer who inspired him to become a streamer.
During this period, he was rumoured to be dating another highly popular Asian-American female internet celebrity, Emiru.
He was also rumoured to have dated Pokimane, a highly popular Canadian-Moroccan female internet celebrity at one time.
