Jarrod Bowen believes the team performed exceptionally well on both offense and defense.

Jarrod Bowen said West Ham United's 1-0 away win against Fulham was significant. The team withstood immense pressure on Wednesday night at Craven Cottage to secure three crucial points and draw level with Nottingham Forest in the league standings.  

Cristiano Somerville scored the winning goal in the second half, breaking the deadlock for his team. The home team then launched a fierce counter-attack in the final stages of the match, with goalkeeper Mas Hermansen making several crucial saves. Despite the tense situation, the team ultimately withstood the pressure and secured a vital victory.  

Jarrod Bowen played a key role in the winning goal scored by the team's number 7. He stated that the victory was significant and reflected West Ham United's resurgence over the past three months.  

After the game, Jarrod Bowen said, "Before the game, we didn't consider it a must-win game because we didn't want to put too much pressure on ourselves. But we also knew how important these three points were to the team, and in the end, we won 1-0 on the road. We were solid defensively and took our chances, so it was undoubtedly a perfect night."  

"Our locker room atmosphere is fantastic; we're a united and strong team, and I think that was evident in today's game. Especially in the last 20 minutes, the team showed remarkable defensive resilience. Celebrating the victory together after the final buzzer meant a lot to us. It meant the same to the fans; we hadn't experienced anything like this for weeks, and it felt wonderful to finally celebrate those three points."  

“I think the team is moving in the right direction. Although we are still in the bottom three of the standings, the team is in excellent form overall, judging from our performance and results. We have performed well both defensively and offensively, and we just need to maintain this form. We must continue to stick together and enjoy every moment like this.”  

Jarrod Bowen capitalized on a brief moment of hesitation by Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno, setting up Cricenceo Somerville for the only goal of the match. After the game, the captain provided a detailed explanation of the goal.  

He said, "I was just trying my best to put pressure on the opposing defenders and take control of the game. When the game was close, I would always try to create opportunities by running and pass the ball to Crisencio Somerville."  

“I feel like I’ve contributed a few assists in recent weeks, so this probably wasn’t my best performance. He scored with his left foot, he’s been outstanding this season, and tonight he scored the winning goal, so he deserves a lot of praise.”

Besides Cristiano Somerville, the team's number 20 also praised goalkeeper Mas Hermanson. Hermanson's performance at Craven Cottage was heroic, with five crucial saves, the most impressive being a last-minute save from substitute Timothy Castagne to secure a 1-0 victory for his team.  

Jarrod Bowen said: "Mas Hermanson has been outstanding since coming on, and he saved us tonight. It's crucial to have a goalkeeper step up in critical moments, and he did that perfectly. I think he was also very composed when in possession, which relieved some of the pressure. His saves were world-class."  

Meanwhile, Jarrod Bowen highly praised the fans. He said that the fans, as always, actively came to support the team, cheering them on from start to finish, creating a vibrant atmosphere at Craven Cottage.  

Jarrod Bowen added: "We knew our mission and we knew we had to win tonight, and we did. Now Leeds United are only three points behind, so we just need to focus on ourselves, on the overall strength of the team, and keep going."  

"That's the power of the fans. Although we may not have been able to give them enough back after the games this season, you can't tell from the support they give us. They understand the importance of the game, and we understand it too. The whole team is united, and that's the most important thing. Sure, we are disappointed with our current ranking, but when we achieve something like tonight, the whole team celebrates together, and those moments are very meaningful."
