Serie A – Inter Milan 2-0 Parma, securing the title in advance

The 35th round of the 2025/26 Serie A season featured a key match where Inter Milan, playing at home at the San Siro, defeated Parma 2-0 thanks to goals from Thuram and Mkhitaryan, thus securing the championship in advance.

Six minutes into the match, Inter Milan created an attacking opportunity when Barella chipped a pass into the penalty area, and Thuram rose to head the ball towards goal, but Parma goalkeeper Ayasu Suzuki made the save. In the 10th minute, Barella again chipped the ball, and Dumfries' header went wide.

In the 21st minute, Parma attempted a counter-attack. Del Prato crossed from the right wing, but Pellegrino's volley went wide. In the 25th minute, Pio Esposito dribbled past his defender and passed the ball to Barella, whose shot hit the post.

In the 80th minute, Bicek orchestrated an attack, Lautaro received the ball and crossed it in front of the goal, where Mkhitaryan fired a low shot into the net, extending Inter Milan's lead to 2-0. In the 86th minute, Elmvester passed the ball across, and Elfiger slid in to score, but the referee ruled that he was offside, and the goal was disallowed.

Inter Milan ultimately defeated Parma 2-0 at home. With this crucial victory, Inter Milan sits atop the Serie A standings with 82 points, 12 points ahead of second-placed Napoli, securing the title with three rounds to spare.
