The mission is not yet complete; Ethan Ampadu calls on Leeds United to continue to demonstrate fighting spirit and cohesion.

Newly promoted Leeds United will host Burnley at Elland Road in the 35th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season. Ethan Ampadu stated that the team's goals are not yet achieved, and therefore they must continue to show fighting spirit and unity in the upcoming matches.

In the last round of the Premier League, Leeds United managed a 2-2 draw away to Bournemouth thanks to an own goal and a goal from Longstaff. With two wins and three draws in their last five matches, Leeds United currently sit 15th in the standings with 40 points.

Unfortunately, Leeds United lost 0-1 to Chelsea in the earlier FA Cup semi-final, failing to qualify for the final.

Burnley, the "Caucasus," lost 0-1 at home to Manchester City in the last round of the league. After 34 rounds with 4 wins, 8 draws, and 22 losses, Burnley are ranked 19th in the standings with 20 points, confirming their relegation.

Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu said, "The beauty of football is that there's always a next step, and the mission isn't over yet. We remain very focused and will make sure to win all four of our remaining games and create the best possible situation for ourselves."
