Danish powerhouse Astralis delivered a stellar performance in the 2026 BLAST Rivals Spring Playoffs, defeating Turkish team FUT Esports 2-0 to secure their place in the quarterfinals.
In this series, Astralis demonstrated exceptional tactical discipline and consistency. Mirage was chosen by FUT in the first map, but Astralis quickly took control of the game from the start, leading 8-4 at halftime and ultimately winning the first game easily 13-5.
In the Nuke game, FUT led 7-5 at halftime thanks to solid defense, but Astralis rallied in the second half to reverse the situation and end the suspense with a 13-10 victory.
The MVP of this match was HooXi, who delivered an outstanding performance with an ADR of 88.6 and a rating of 1.36.
FUT, unfortunately eliminated, finished the Spring Tournament in 7th-8th place, winning $60,000 in prize money. It's worth noting that FUT had coach lauNX as a substitute player for this tournament, and despite the incomplete roster, they still displayed a tenacious competitive spirit.
With Astralis's advancement, the fierce competition of the 2026 BLAST Rivals Spring Season continues. The tournament will run from April 29th to May 3rd, with the remaining top teams making a final push for the $1 million prize pool.
