Dust2 exclusively reported on Saturday that Straight2Killin's American Counter Strike 2 rifler VulcaN, has been permanently banned by FACE IT due to controversies involving skin theft, fraud, and gross misconduct.
According to the report, FACE IT had actually quietly issued VulcaN permanent ban on January 14th, but the news of his ban was only revealed on Friday evening (January 16th) US time.
The whistleblower claims that since the controversy was reported, FACE IT has maintained a low profile and has not responded publicly. It wasn't until netizens on X (Twitter) Twitter searched for VulcaN's information on the FACE IT website that they discovered he had already been quietly banned permanently and officially given the 'Toxicity' (highly indecent / malicious) label.
Subsequently, Dust2 attempted to contact FACE IT, but the company remained unresponsive. VulcaN, the person involved, insisted that the allegedly "shared account" in the screenshots did not belong to him and planned to appeal to FACE IT and Valve.
If the appeal fails, VulcaN could face permanent ban from other tournament organizers, meaning his Counter Strike 2 professional esports career would end in the most disgraceful way.
Context of the Incident:
In fact, VulcaN has been embroiled in various controversies for many years, initially accused of cheating in competitions.
Since winning Fragdelphia 16 Fullerton in 2022, allegations have surfaced online claiming that VulcaN shared his Steam account to others to play for him using third-party software.
These allegations intensified after he won two ESEA tournaments that year.
Following that, VulcaN, who never stayed with any team for more than two months until 2023, was also accused of frequently defrauding his former teammates by stealing skins for illegal trading in exchange for money.
Furthermore, in August 2023, VulcaN was temporarily banned from FPL-C tournaments by FACR IT for allegedly colluding with woajar to cheat by losing to each other to boost their ratings.
Last week, former FlyQuest Red rifler UhKelsie posted on her official X account, alleging that VulcaN shared his alternate accounts to someone else during a friendly match, resulting in her and her teammates being repeatedly killed by VulcaN in illogical ways.
To prove her point, she uploaded videos and screenshots from multiple matches as evidence and publicly challenged FACE IT to stop tolerating such repeat offenders who still dared to participate in ESL Pro League (EPL) events.
Soon after, VulcaN, unwilling to back down, engaged in a fierce verbal battle with the former FlyQuest Red player, even resorting to profanity and personal attacks, making the situation extremely ugly.
