Premier League – Mbourneau scores as Manchester United beat Manchester City 2-0

In the 22nd round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Manchester United, playing at Old Trafford, defeated Manchester City 2-0 thanks to goals from Mbourneau and Patrick Dougher.

Three minutes into the match, Bruno Fernandes took a corner kick, and Maguire's header hit the post. In the 5th minute, Manchester United regained possession and launched an attack, but Mbourneau's shot was saved by Manchester City goalkeeper Donnarumma.

In the 7th minute, Manchester City made another mistake. Bruno Fernandes played a through ball, but as Mbourneau moved forward to receive it, Manchester City goalkeeper Donnarumma immediately caught the ball. In the 14th minute, Manchester City attempted a counter-attack. In the 89th minute, Manchester United launched an attack, and Diallo received the ball, rounded the defense, and shot, but the ball hit the post.

In the second half stoppage time, Cunha dribbled into the penalty area and crossed the ball, Mount shot and scored, but after VAR intervention, it was ruled offside.

Manchester United ultimately defeated Manchester City 2-0 at home.
