Maro Gusto: I hope to enjoy the game and give my best performance on the field.

For Marlo Gusto, playing in his home country's capital while wearing the Chelsea jersey is undoubtedly a tremendous honor. However, the French international has only one goal – to win the first leg and carry the advantage back to London. On Thursday, Chelsea will face Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes in a highly anticipated Champions League Round of 16 clash. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since Chelsea won the Club World Cup final in July.

Chelsea secured a victory in their match in New Jersey, and Marlo Gusto hopes the team can achieve another win ahead of their upcoming game against Paris Saint-Germain. However, he believes it's difficult to directly compare the two matches, stating that the players, under Liam Rossene's leadership, will be fully prepared for this new challenge.

Maro Gusto said: "I think tomorrow's match is completely different from the Club World Cup final. This is the Champions League, the nature of the match and the context of the event are different. As players, we certainly remember beating them in the Club World Cup, it was a special experience, but it wasn't easy. We will take that victory as a source of confidence and show our best in tomorrow's match."

This right-back can also play as a left-back and in midfield, and he hopes to get a chance to play against Paris Saint-Germain in his hometown. When asked about the upcoming match in France, Maro Gusto smiled broadly.

Marlo Gusto also hopes to maintain good physical condition so that he can represent France in the upcoming summer World Cup, which could be a special time for him. Gusto added: "It feels great to be back playing in France, and I think it's a good phase for me personally, for the club, and for the national team."

"We have some very important games coming up, including a crucial match tomorrow night. I hope to enjoy the moment, show my best on the court, and do my best to help my teammates. I'm looking forward to the future."
