Spanish League of Legends team Team Heretics announced on Friday via their official X (Twitter) account that former G2 ace support player Mithy has officially joined the club as an assistant coach.
According to Team Heretics' official statement, Mithy will participate in the 2026 LEC Versus regular season, which begins this weekend.
This marks Mithy's return to a European team after five years. His last LEC appearance was in 2020, when he helped Fnatic (FNC) achieve two runner-up finishes.
For the past five years, Mithy has been coaching North American teams. During this time, he has led 100 Thieves, Cloud9 (C9), and FlyQuest to multiple LCS titles, including the 2025 LTA Championship, and was named Coach of the Year for the 2023 LCS Spring Split and the 2025 LTA North Split 3.
About Mithy
Mithy, 31 years old, was born on October 5, 1994, in Spain. He played as a support throughout his professional gaming career.
Mithy's professional League of Legends e-sports began in 2012, initially playing for Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP).
In 2015, while playing for Origen, Mithy helped the team win the League of Legends LCS EU Challengers championship and was named MVP of the week once.
The following summer, Mithy transferred to G2.
During his time with G2, Mithy's outstanding performances helped the team win the LCS EU Series championship three times, and he was selected to the All-Pro 1st Team twice and the All-Pro 2nd Team once.
