According to multiple media reports, Arsenal have reached a framework agreement with their key winger Bukayo Saka on a five-year long-term contract extension.
Although Arsenal has not yet officially released a statement, all indications suggest that the future of England's star player is locked at the Emirates Stadium until 2031.
Sources indicate that contract renewal negotiations are nearing completion. To match Saka's top performances in European football in recent years, Arsenal has offered him an extremely lucrative deal. It is understood that Saka's weekly wage will exceed £300,000, with a total annual income surpassing £15 million.
Saka has repeatedly expressed his loyalty to Arsenal and his desire to win trophies while wearing the Arsenal crest. Currently, Arsenal are performing steadily in the Premier League standings, holding a commanding 6-point lead with 49 points from 15 wins, 4 draws, and 2 losses.
On the field, Saka remains in excellent form this season. Although the coaching staff consciously rotated his playing time in December to protect him from injury, he still contributed 7 goals and 6 assists in 27 games.
Arsenal also brought in Noni Maduk in July 2025 as a backup for Saka, which allowed him to be more physically fit for the title race in the second half of the season.
When discussing Saka's contract situation last September, head coach Mikel Arteta said, "I would be very happy if he could sign a new contract."
"From everything I know, he remains a very happy person and is proud to stay here and to play his role at the club. He has been growing naturally. Everyone knows how important Bukaio is to us, so hopefully we can complete the contract extension."
