NEO's successor has been officially in place, with former ENCE coach Enkay J officially taking the helm at FaZe.

FaZe's CS2 division announced on Thursday that Niklas Krumhorn (ID: enkay J) has officially replaced Philipp Kubski (ID: NEO) as coach. Dominic Sividelski (ID: GruBy), who previously took over the team temporarily, has stepped down and is expected to return to his analyst role.

This move to join FaZe means that enkay J is returning to the CS2 scene after being out of the game for over a month. In March of this year, he was added to the transfer list by ENCE, which was planning to localize its team.

The 36-year-old enkay J previously worked as an analyst for Mousesports, EnVyUs, and G2 Esports, and coached several CS teams including aTTaX, Sprou, BIG, and Entropiq. He has been the head coach of ENCE since September 2024, and his greatest achievement during that time was leading the team to win the 2024 Elisa Masters.

For enkay J, the immediate priority is to get FaZe, who are mired in difficulties, back on track. FaZe have only managed an 8-17 record so far this year, suffering consecutive defeats in several S-tier tournaments, including IEM Krakow, PGL Cluj-Napoca, ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 1, and the BLAST Spring Open. They ultimately failed to qualify for IEM Cologne 2026 due to insufficient points, and earlier this month they were stopped in the group stage of PGL Bucharest by Inner Circle.

With the arrival of enkay J, FaZe's current roster is as follows:

Commander: Finn Anderson (ID: karrigan)

Rifleman: David Chernansky (ID: frozen)

Sniper: Hervé Saucantz (ID: broky)

Rifleman: Yakub Pitrushevsky (ID: jcobbb)

Rifleman: Russell Vandulken (ID: Twistzz)

Coach: Niklas Krumhorn (ID: enkay J)
