Former Wildcard sniper fr3nd has announced his departure from the team, having been demoted nearly six months prior.

Sebastian Kusmez (ID: fr3nd) confirmed on Monday that he has officially left the North American CS2 team Wildcard. He is ready to embrace new challenges in his professional career and welcomes interested teams to contact him.

The statement reads: "After a year with Wildcard, I have officially become a free agent. Over the past six months, I have used my time on the bench to recharge and improve. I feel clear-headed and highly motivated. I am more motivated than ever to prove myself."

fr3nd concluded by stating that he is open to serving as either a sniper or a commander. However, his future plans remain unclear.

The 23-year-old fr3nd is from Poland and has played for several teams during his professional career, including Gaminate, Pompa, HONORIS, PACT, Let Us Cook, ThunderFlash, Enterprise, and Permitta. He was promoted from Wildcard's youth team to the starting lineup in July 2025, but was relegated to the bench in September of the same year due to the return of Love Smidbrandt (ID: phzy).

According to HLTV statistics, fr3nd played a total of 36 maps and participated in 734 rounds in Wildcard, with an average personal rating of 1.12.
