SumaiL has officially left Nigma Galaxy after three years of service.

Dota 2's legendary mid-laner SumaiL has officially ended his three-year partnership with Nigma Galaxy.

This major announcement by the club on Monday marks the end of a highly turbulent chapter in the career of this top star.

Since joining Nigma in May 2022, SumaiL was briefly loaned to the Chinese team Aster in 2023 before returning to his parent team. In 2025, he led Nigma to its most glorious moment in the team's history.

Not only did they make it to The International 2025 for the first time in history, but they also overcame strong opponents in the playoffs against all odds, ultimately achieving a remarkable 5th-6th place finish globally.

However, the roster turmoil after TI became the trigger for the collapse. With the brief rest of veteran player GH and frequent player changes, Nigma's competitive performance quickly declined.

After entering the 2025-2026 competitive season, the team's performance was disastrous. They failed to qualify for several top tournaments, including BLAST Slam, DreamLeague, and PGL Wallachia, and completely lost their former competitiveness.

Currently, Nigma Galaxy has only three official players and one substitute carry. Although the club has not yet announced a successor, it is widely speculated that former offlaner No!ob will return to his original mid lane role.

For SumaiL, leaving the team may have saddened fans, but it also provides new possibilities for him to start the next chapter of his professional career.
